Every Hitachi cordless power tool is designed to the highest standards and rigorously tested for both performance and durability. Hitachi is proud to offer an exclusive 10-year Lithium Ion tool warranty* to the original purchaser on HXP Lithium Ion cordless tools, which protects against possible defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date.**

Hitachi HXP Lithium Ion Technology Protects the Tool & Battery HXP Lithium Ion batteries operate within the optimal voltage limits, protecting both the tool and battery from damage. Exclusive protection circuitry built into each battery and charger monitors the charge and discharge for each individual cell. This results in peak operating performance while in use or during regular charging. Additionally, if a surge in power is detected during use, Hitachi’s exclusive technology called “Over Current Protection” will temporarily shut off the power to protect the battery and tool from being damaged. This unique feature allows the power to return to normal optimal voltage, thereby extending battery and tool life beyond any other competitive Lithium Ion product.

Hitachi 2-Year HXP Lithium Ion Battery Warranty

All HXP Lithium Ion batteries contain unique circuit protection technology that ensures proper maintenance so they will continue to operate at peak levels at all times. Hitachi is proud to offer an exceptional 2-year HXP Lithium Ion battery warranty to the original purchaser, which protects against possible defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date.

HXP Lithium Ion batteries have up to three times the lifespan of traditional NiCd or NiMH batteries. Where NiCd/NiMH batteries could be used for up to 500 charge cycles, HXP Lithium Ion batteries can be used for up to 1500 charge cycles!

Hitachi 1-Year HXP Lithium Ion Charger Warranty

Hitachi HXP Lithium Ion cross-compatible chargers feature built-in Cool Air Flow systems to maintain the optimal charging temperature. Hitachi offers a 1-year HXP Lithium Ion charger warranty to the original purchaser, which protects against possible defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date.

Patented Built-In Protection System

The Hitachi protection circuitry monitors each cell contained within the battery pack. This ensures each cell is only charged to its optimal level. Once a cell reaches optimal charge level, the charging function to that cell is stopped to prevent overcharging.
